Dr.G’s “Olive Young Promotional Event in June” Records the Highest Sales Ever Thanks to the “EHUB®” Campaign

Gowoonsesang Cosmetics announced on July 7th that its derma cosmetic brand “Dr.G” recorded the highest sales ever at Olive Young last month. They reported that sales analysis showed 266% MoM increase in sales during the one-month long OliveYoung promotion held in June, which was about 87% growth compared to sales during the special promotional event held last July.


Gowoonsesang Cosmetics believes that the remarkable increase is due to a combination of special promotion and the “EHUB®” Campaign, owned by Dr.G to help the public achieve a healthy skin with a 3-step simple daily care routine, i.e. exfoliation, hydration and UV blocking. It is believed that the sales growth was also driven by providing customers with a special gift with Sungchan’s photo, the member of the group NCT and the brand ambassador on the OliveYoung Online Shopping Mall. It was presented only for 7 days from June 21 to 27, which ended successfully with sales rising.


During the promotional period, Dr.G presented a total of 21 products to encourage more consumers to try the “EHUB” daily skincare routine. Among these, the most popular products were (1) Subacidic Cleansing Gel Foam Limited Edition, (2) Brightening Peeling Gel Limited Edition, (3) R.E.D. Blemish Clear Soothing Cream Limited Edition, and (4) Green Mild Up Sun Essence Limited Edition. Those best-selling products were products that allow consumers to take care of their skins step by step from washing to moisturizing and UV blocking. “R.E.D. Blemish Clear Soothing Cream Limited Edition” accounted for 23% of the total sales, with a 628% MoM increase. This product proved its popularity by ranking the first in total sales in the Dr.G Shopping Mall in June.

“Dr.G”, the derma cosmetic brand, initiated the “EHUB® Campaign” since May to help the public have healthy skin through a 3-step skincare routine, with a variety of activities, such as releasing a campaign video and holding Sungchan’s online man-to-man meet-and-greet.
